How We Verify Offers

How DealsDasher evaluates coupon and deal information while being clear about what verification can and cannot mean.

Verification Is Not One Single Test

Coupons and deals can reach DealsDasher through different sources, including merchant websites, partner information, editorial review, and shopper feedback. Those sources do not all prove the same thing, so we avoid treating every listing as if it had gone through an identical checkout test.

What We Look For

When reviewing an offer, useful signals can include whether the merchant is reachable, whether the promotion is currently visible, whether important terms are available, whether the code or deal matches the correct merchant, whether the stated saving is supported, and whether recent information suggests the offer still deserves to be shown.

Freshness Matters

An offer that was useful last month may not be useful today. DealsDasher revisits offer information over time and uses editorial review, data, automation, and artificial intelligence to help keep listings current. If an offer looks outdated or no longer matches the merchant's current promotion, it may be reviewed or updated.

Shopper Feedback Is Helpful, Not Absolute

A shopper report can provide useful context, especially when several independent reports point in the same direction. At the same time, a coupon may work for one shopper and fail for another because of location, account status, basket contents, minimum spend, payment method, or merchant-specific restrictions.

What Verification Does Not Guarantee

No verification label can guarantee that a merchant will accept an offer for every basket or every shopper. Always confirm the discount in the merchant's checkout before paying.
