Data & Content Methodology

A high-level explanation of the information DealsDasher uses to maintain store pages, offers, shopper feedback, and savings content.

Where Information Can Come From

DealsDasher may use information from merchant websites, affiliate partners, internal editorial work, public sources, shopper submissions, feedback, and historical DealsDasher records. Different sources have different strengths, and older information is not automatically treated as current.

Keeping Store and Offer Information Useful

We maintain store pages and offer records over time rather than treating a coupon listing as permanent. New promotions can be added, outdated information can be revised, and pages may be refreshed when the merchant or available evidence changes.

AI-Assisted Data and Content Work

Artificial intelligence helps us work across a large amount of information. It may assist with organizing facts, identifying inconsistencies, refreshing written content, finding gaps, and supporting quality checks. This helps us maintain a large number of store and offer pages while keeping the information easier for shoppers to understand.

Shopper Feedback

Feedback can help us understand whether an offer appears to work, fail, or carry restrictions for real shoppers. We use moderation and anti-abuse controls because feedback can be incomplete, duplicated, manipulated, or affected by shopper-specific conditions.

Statistics and Summaries

Where DealsDasher displays aggregated information, we aim to avoid presenting a tiny or unreliable sample as if it were a strong conclusion. Some values may be withheld when there is not enough useful information to support a meaningful public summary.

Limits of the Data

No dataset can capture every account-specific, regional, personalized, or time-sensitive merchant condition. DealsDasher information is designed to help with comparison, while the merchant's current terms and checkout determine the transaction you actually receive.
